AP CS A
AP CS A mirrors an introductory college level computer science course . Known for its rigor, AP CS A teaches students a fundamental computer science language – Java – and requires students to take their algorithmic and logical thinking to the next level. Through the course, students engage in high level problem solving and apply their skills to build interesting projects. As an Advanced Placement course, students are able to demonstrate their knowledge of AP CS A at the end of the year during the AP exam, and through successful completion of the course, students are eligible to earn college credit.
